Ingredients:

For the burger patties:

2 lbs ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)

Salt and pepper to taste

4 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

For the bacon:

8 slices crispy bacon

For the toppings:

1 large tomato, sliced

1 small onion, sliced into rings

4 pickles, sliced

Lettuce leaves

4 hamburger buns (toasted)

For the fries:

4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Condiments (optional):

Ketchup

Mustard

Mayonnaise

Instructions:

Prepare the fries:

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Cook the bacon:

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

Cook the burger patties:

Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.

Shape the ground beef into 8 equal-sized patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Grill or cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt.

Toast the buns:

Lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Assemble the burgers:

Start with the bottom toasted bun.

Layer with lettuce, a cheese-covered patty, tomato slices, onion rings, pickles, and two slices of crispy bacon.

Add your preferred condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo) on the top bun, then place it on top of the burger.

Repeat the steps for the remaining burgers.

Serve:

Serve the bacon cheeseburgers with a side of crispy fries and extra condiments if desired.

Notes:

For a smoky flavor, you can add BBQ sauce or grilled onions to the burger.

You can fry the fries for extra crunch if you prefer.
