Ingredients:
2 slices of sourdough or white bread, toasted
2 leaves of crisp romaine lettuce
2-3 slices of ripe tomato
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices of thick-cut beef bacon
Instructions:
Cook the Bacon:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.
Prepare the Sandwich:
Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
Layer the lettuce on top of one slice, followed by the tomato slices. Season the tomatoes with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place the crispy bacon strips on top of the tomatoes.
Assemble:
Top with the second slice of toasted bread, cut the sandwich in half, and serve.
Enjoy:
Serve with a side of fries or chips for the perfect meal!
