Steak Stuffed French Bread

Ingredients:

1 large French bread loaf

1 pound beef steak, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 large onion, thinly sliced

1 bell pepper, thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

Prepare the Bread:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and hollow out some of the bread from the center to create room for the filling. Set aside.

Cook the Steak:

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the thinly sliced steak and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables:

In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed.

Sauté the sliced onion and bell pepper until they are tender and slightly caramelized.

Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Combine Ingredients:

Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the vegetables.

Add the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.

Assemble the Bread:

Place the hollowed-out French bread halves on a baking sheet.

Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture evenly into the bread halves.

Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake:

Brush the edges of the bread with melted butter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is crispy.

Serve:

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
