Steak in Creamy Cajun Shrimp Sauce

Ingredients:

4 steaks (ribeye or filet mignon)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped

 

Instructions:

Season Steaks: Season steaks with salt and pepper.

Sear Steaks: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and set aside.

Cook Shrimp: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink.

Make Sauce: Stir in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning. Cook until sauce thickens. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

Serve: Serve steaks topped with creamy Cajun shrimp sauce and garnish with chopped parsley.
