Juicy Double Steakburgers Topped with Garlicky Butter, Melted Cheese, and Served on Toasted Buns
Ingredients:
For the Steakburgers:
1 lb (450g) ground beef (80% lean)
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices American cheese or your favorite cheese
4 hamburger buns
1 tablespoon butter (for toasting buns)
For the Garlic Butter:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Garlic Butter:
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic and fresh parsley until well combined. Set aside.
2️⃣ Form the Steakburgers:
Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion into a thin patty, slightly larger than the size of the buns. Season each patty generously with salt and pepper.
3️⃣ Cook the Steakburgers:
Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties in batches, if necessary, for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
4️⃣ Toast the Buns:
While the patties are cooking, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a separate skillet over medium heat. Place the buns, cut side down, in the skillet and toast until golden brown and crispy.
5️⃣ Assemble the Burgers:
Spread a generous amount of garlic butter on the toasted sides of the buns. Place one patty on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a second patty. Top with the other half of the bun.
6️⃣ Serve:
Serve the garlic double steakburgers hot, with your favorite sides such as fries, onion rings, or a fresh salad.
