Ingredients:
3 lbs beef roast, cubed
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp mirin (optional)
1 tbsp honey
1/4 cup grated pear (or apple)
1/4 cup grated onion
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp gochujang (optional)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch (optional)
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
2 green onions, sliced (optional)
Instructions:
Place the beef in the slow cooker. Mix the remaining ingredients (except sesame oil, seeds, and green onions) and add to the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8+ hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
Mix in sesame oil, seeds, and green onions before serving.
