Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
3 tbsp olive oil
6 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Season the Steak:
In a large bowl, toss the steak cubes with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika (if using).
- Cook the Steak Bites:
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter:
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add 4 tbsp of butter.
Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Combine and Serve:
Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter for 1-2 minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve:
Serve hot with a side of rice, mashed potatoes, or a green salad.
Tips:
Extra Flavor: Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the garlic butter for more depth.
Make It Spicy: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
Cheesy Finish: Top with grated Parmesan just before serving for a cheesy twist.
