Ingredients

1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tbsp olive oil

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 tsp dried)

1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

Lemon wedges, for serving

 

Instructions

Prepare the Steak Bites: Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.

Cook the Steak: In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the steak.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce the heat to medium. Add butter, minced garlic, thyme, and parsley to the skillet, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute).

Combine: Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter sauce.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
