These Garlic Butter Shrimps makes a quick weeknight dinner and are also great to be served as an appetiser!
Ingredients:
500g/17.6oz Surimi Shrimps or shrimps of your choice
1 Tbls Dried Parsley
4 Cloves Garlic, crushed
1 Tsp Onion Powder
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Paprika
1 Tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
1 Tsp Italian Seasoning
Salt/pepper
115g/4oz Unsalted butter
Olive Oil
Method:
In a small bowl mix the onion, garlic, paprika, lemon, Italian seasoning, salt/pepper together.
Place the shrimps in a large bowl and drizzle some olive oil on top. Mix to coat then add the seasoning and mix together until shrimps are well coated with the seasoning.
In a large pan, pour 4 to 5 tablespoons olive oil. When the oil is hot, on medium heat fry the shrimps for 1 minute per side next to each, not over crowded in the pan. Remove and set aside.
To the same pan, add the butter. When it starts to melt, add the crushed garlic and cook for about 30 seconds stirring continuously. Now add the dried parsley, stir through then add the shrimps. Cook for a few minutes until shrimps are heated through.
