PEARS WRAPPED WITH PROSCIUTTO & BLUE CHEESE

These procuitto wrapped pears with blue cheese make a delicious, elegant and sweet appetizer that will be hard to stop after eating just one!

 

Ingredients:

2 Pears

Prosciutto slices

200g/7oz Blue Cheese, thinly sliced

Rucola/Argula

2 Tsp Fresh Lemon Juice

Honey for drizzling

Walnuts for Garnish

 

Method:

Cut segments from each pear. You should get about 8 segments per pear. In a large bowl toss the pears and lemon juice together. This will prevent them from browning.

Place a slice of blue cheese against the segment, rucola leaf and wrap tightly with prosciutto. Place on a serving plate, drizzle with honey and garnish with whole and chopped walnuts.
