Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Breading:
In a shallow dish, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
In another shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
Place the flour in a third shallow dish.
Bread the Chicken:
Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off any excess.
Dip the chicken into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Press the chicken into the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides well.
Cook the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Transfer the chicken breasts to the prepared baking sheet.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
Serve:
Serve hot with your favorite sides.
