These little treats are great for parties or family gatherings! Decorate to match the occasion–They will always be the first thing to disappear off your dessert tray no matter how you decorate!! ☺️

Ingredients (32 Balls)

450g/16oz Original Oreo Biscuits

180g/6.3oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese

200g/7oz White Chocolate

25ml Vegetable Oil

Red & Green Food Colouring (Oil Based)

Method:

In a food processor crush the oreo biscuits. Add the philadelphia cheese and mix again. If it doesn’t all blend together, continue to mix it through by hand.

Form into balls and place on a baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes so they firm up or 15 minutes in the freezer.

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave stopping and stirring in between so it won’t burn. When nearly all melted stir it with a hand balloon whisk so it will come nice and smooth then add the vegetable oil and continue stirring until well combined. Add food colouring and mix again until you reach the color desired. Dip balls into chocolate and place onto a clean baking sheet and decorate. If you are going to drizzle chocolate on top, refrigerate first for the chocolate to harden.

Keep refrigerated in an airtight container until ready to serve.

Enjoy!

NOTE: It is important to use an oil base food colouring otherwise the chocolate will simple harden.

Oreo balls can be decorated in many ways.. You can cover in white or milk chocolate and drizzle dark or white chocolate on top, with oreo crumbs or as seen above.

200g/7oz white chocolate will cover all 32 balls so if you are going to make them in different colours, divide the amount.
