Ingredients:
– 2 sirloin steaks
– 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 4 slices mozzarella cheese
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the Steaks
Season the sirloin steaks with salt and pepper. Carefully cut a slit in each steak to create a pocket for the mozzarella cheese.
Step 2: Stuff the Steaks
Place 2 slices of mozzarella cheese inside each steak pocket. Press the edges together to seal in the cheese.
Step 3: Cook the Steaks
In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
Step 4: Prepare the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add olive oil and minced garlic. Cook for a minute before adding the shrimp. Season with paprika and oregano, then cook the shrimp until pink and cooked through.
Step 5: Serve
Place the cooked shrimp on top of the mozzarella-stuffed steaks. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
