Ingredients:

– 1 pound ground beef

– 1/2 cup chopped onion

– 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

– 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce

– 1 (15 ounce) can tomato paste

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 12 taco shells

– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni

– 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon

– 1/4 cup chopped cooked Italian sausage

Instructions:

  1. Cook the ground beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Add the vegetables: Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, and seasonings: Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  4. Simmer the sauce: Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, or until it has thickened.
