Irresistible Oreo-Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:

2 cups warm milk

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter, melted

2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

5 cups flour

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 cup crushed Oreos

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup sugar

2 tsp cinnamon

1 cup powdered sugar

2-3 tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

 

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and melted butter. Sprinkle yeast over the mixture and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture, stirring until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Roll out the dough into a large rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough.

In a small bowl, mix crushed Oreos, brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered dough.

Roll up the dough tightly from the long edge and cut into 12 even pieces. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.

Cover and let the rolls rise for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
