Ingredients:

 

  • 1 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons of amaretto liqueur
  • 1/2 cup of finely chopped almonds
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Crushed almonds for garnish

 

Directions:

 

. In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and heavy cream.

. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

. Stir in the amaretto liqueur until well combined.

. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until the mixture is firm.

. Once chilled, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized truffle balls.

. Roll each truffle in finely chopped almonds, ensuring they are evenly coated.

. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for an additional 30 minutes.

. Before serving, dust the truffles with cocoa powder and garnish with crushed almonds.
