Ingredients:

1 large soft hoagie roll

1 jumbo cheese hot dog

1 slice of pizza (any kind, but pepperoni works best!)

1/4 cup pepperoni slices

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon garlic butter

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Cheese Dog:

Grill or pan-fry the cheese hot dog until it’s golden brown and crispy on the outside.

  1. Prepare the Pizza Slice:

Heat a slice of pizza (any kind, but pepperoni is the perfect pairing) in the oven, microwave, or on the stovetop until it’s warm and the cheese is slightly bubbly.

  1. Toast the Sub Roll:

Slice the hoagie roll lengthwise and lightly toast it on a skillet or in the oven until crispy on the outside.

  1. Make the Garlic Butter:

In a small pan, melt the garlic butter over low heat, then stir in a pinch of oregano and a sprinkle of salt and pepper for extra flavor.

  1. Assemble the Sandwich:

Place the cooked cheese dog in the toasted roll.

Carefully place the slice of pizza on top of the cheese dog, folding it if necessary to fit.

Add the pepperoni slices on top of the pizza.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza and pepperoni.

  1. Melt the Cheese:

Place the entire sandwich under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, just long enough for the cheese to melt and get bubbly. Watch closely to avoid burning!

  1. Add Garlic Butter:

Once the cheese is melted, drizzle the garlic butter over the top of the sandwich.

  1. Serve and Enjoy:

Slice in half and serve hot for a cheesy, indulgent treat!
