Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 egg
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 loaf of French bread, sliced
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
In a skillet, cook the meatballs over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
Arrange the sliced French bread in a single layer in a baking dish.
Place the cooked meatballs on top of the bread slices.
Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are well covered.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and the remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
