Grilled chicken wrap with fries and dipping sauce

Ingredients :

For the chicken wrap:

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon of paprika

1 tablespoon of olive oil

4 wraps (or bread later)

Lettuce leaves

1 tomato in cubes

1 thinly sliced cucumber (optional)

4 tablespoons of mayonnaise or garlic sauce

1 tablespoon mustard (optional)

For the fries:

3 large potatoes cut in strips

Some salt to taste

2 cups of vegetable oil for frying

Optional: paprika or garlic powder for seasoning

For the dipping sauce:

4 tablespoons of ketchup

2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

Optional: a little hot sauce or chili powder for spice

 

Instructions :

  1. Prepare the chicken:

Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika.

Heat the olive oil in a medium-high grill pan.

Grill the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked

Let the chicken rest a few minutes, then slice into thin strips.

  1. Prepare the chips:

Heating oil in a deep fryer.

Once the oil is hot, fry the potato strips until tender.

Ripe oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and paprika or optional garlic.

  1. Assemble the Wraps:

Place an envelope on a flat surface and spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise or garlic sauce in the center.

Add some lettuce leaves, diced tomatoes and sliced cucumber (if using).

Place a portion of grilled chicken strips over the vegetables.

Roll the package well and, if you desire, grill it briefly to create grill marks.

  1. Prepare the dipping sauce:

Mix ketchup and mayonnaise in a small bowl. Add some hot sauce or chilli powder for a spicy kick if desired

  1. Serve :

Serve the grilled chicken wraps with a side of fries and dipping sauce.
