Ingredients:

• 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
• 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
• 4 slices bacon, chopped
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tbsp olive oil or cooking oil

Directions:

1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set it aside, leaving a bit of bacon fat in the skillet.
2. Add the smoked sausage slices to the skillet and cook until browned. Remove and set aside with the bacon.
3. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until it begins to soften (about 5-7 minutes).
5. Season with paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
6. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
7. Stir in the cooked bacon and sausage. Mix everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed before serving.
Serve this savory dish as a filling meal that brings together the smokiness of sausage and bacon with the lightness of shrimp and cabbage!
