Easy to make, just mix everything by hand…A dessert with few ingredients in 5 minutes!
Ingredients
120g Rolled Oats (1 1/4 Cups)
250ml Hot Milk
2 Ripe Bananas (200g without peel)
2 Eggs
100g/3.5oz Stevia or sweetener of your choice or 150g/5.3oz Sugar
Pinch Salt
30g Cocoa Powder (4 Tbls)
5g Baking Powder (1 Tsp)
8 Inch Cake Tin
Baking Pan 22cm x 16cm
Topping:
Chopped Nuts of your choice
100g/3.5oz Dark Chocolate, chopped
50ml Hot Milk
Method:
In a large bowl mix the oats with the hot milk. Leave to soak for 10 minutes.
Squash the bananas with a fork.
In another bowl whisk the eggs and stevia with a hand balloon whisk. Add the bananas, mix well then add the salt, cocoa and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
Stir the oats first then pour the chocolate batter over the oats and stir with a spatula.
Grease a baking tin or dish with butter and pour in the batter. Top with chopped nuts and bake in oven 180C/350F for 35 to 40 minutes.
Topping:
Place the chopped chocolate in a small bowl and pour over the hot milk. Soak and mix well with a spoon until smooth.
Place cooled chocolate in a piping bag and drizzle over cake or drizzle with a spoon.
