**Ingredients:**
– 1 1/2 pounds cubed steak
– 1/3 cup flour
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
– 1 large onion (sliced)
– 1 (14-ounce) can beef broth
– 1 package dry onion soup mix
**Instructions:**
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic salt, and black pepper. Dredge each cubed steak in the flour mixture, coating both sides evenly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the floured cubed steaks to the hot skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are browned and crispy. Remove the cubed steaks from the skillet and set them aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and cook until they become translucent and start to caramelize.
- Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over the onions and stir.
- Gradually add the beef broth to the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Return the browned cubed steaks to the skillet, submerging them in the onion gravy.
- Cover the skillet and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cubed steaks are tender and the gravy has thickened.
- Serve your Cubed Steak with Onion Gravy hot, spooning the delicious onion gravy over the steaks.
