1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp sugar
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Brown the Ground Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
Add Ingredients to Crockpot:
Transfer the cooked ground beef to the crockpot. Add the chopped onion, garlic, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Cook in Crockpot:
Stir everything together until well combined. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
Serve:
Stir the chili before serving. Spoon over hot dogs and garnish with shredded cheese, diced onions, or any other toppings you like.
