Ingredients:
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a square baking pan.
. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the sugar until well combined.
. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually add the butter and sugar mixture, stirring continuously.
. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix until the batter is smooth.
. Fold in the shredded coconut and chocolate chips.
. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
. Allow the brownies to cool before cutting them into squares.
