Ingredients:
8 slices rye bread
1 pound corned beef, thinly sliced
1 cup sauerkraut, drained
8 slices Swiss cheese
1/2 cup Russian dressing
Butter for grilling
Directions:
Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Assemble the Sandwiches:
Spread Russian dressing on one side of each slice of bread.
On four slices of bread, layer with corned beef, sauerkraut, and two slices of Swiss cheese each.
Top with the remaining slices of bread, dressing side down.
Grill the Sandwiches:
Butter the outside of each sandwich and grill on the preheated skillet.
Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Serve:
Cut sandwiches in half and serve hot.
