Chicken Cordon Bleu Stromboli

Ingredients:

1 tube (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza crust

4 thin slices deli ham

1 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken

6 slices Swiss cheese

1 tablespoon butter, melted

Roasted garlic Alfredo sauce (optional)

 

Directions:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Prepare the Crust: Unroll the refrigerated pizza crust onto the prepared baking sheet, gently stretching it into a rectangle.

Layer Ingredients: Place the deli ham slices evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border around the edges. Spread the shredded cooked chicken evenly over the ham. Then, layer the Swiss cheese slices on top of the chicken.

Roll the Stromboli: Starting from one long side, carefully roll up the crust, encasing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal the seam and tuck the ends under to secure the filling.

Brush with Butter: Brush the melted butter over the top of the Stromboli to give it a golden, crispy finish.

Bake: Place the Stromboli in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and fully cooked.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with roasted garlic Alfredo sauce for dipping, if desired.
