Ingredients:

1 cup elbow macaroni

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup milk

2 tbsp butter

1/4 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

3 strips cooked crispy bacon

2 tbsp chopped green onions

1 cup crispy fries

Instructions:

Prepare the Fries:

Preheat your oven and bake the fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden brown.

Cook the Macaroni:

Boil the elbow macaroni in salted water for about 8 minutes until tender.

Drain the pasta and set it aside.

Make the Cheese Sauce:

In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the milk and bring it to a simmer.

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.

Assemble:

Mix the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until well coated.

Pour the macaroni and cheese into a bowl or plate and top it with crispy bacon bits and chopped green onions.
