Bacon Cheeseburger Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:

2 slices of thick-cut bread

2 beef patties

2 slices cheddar cheese

4 slices of crispy bacon

1 tbsp butter

Pickles for garnish

Optional: Your favorite condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc.)

 

Instructions:

Cook the bacon: In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then set it aside.

Cook the beef patties: In the same skillet, cook the beef patties to your desired doneness (about 3-4 minutes per side for medium).

Assemble the sandwich: Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice of cheese on each beef patty while it’s still in the skillet to melt.

Layer the sandwich: On the unbuttered side of the bread, add a beef patty with melted cheese, then top with crispy bacon and the second patty. Add the second slice of bread, buttered side up.

Grill the sandwich: In the skillet, grill the sandwich on medium-low heat for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.

Serve and enjoy: Cut the sandwich in half and serve with pickles on the side!
